How to paint feathers in the Bald Eagle Acrylic Painting
Using layers work from dark to light to create depth.
Most important points to remember:
Brushstrokes need to be in the correct direction.
Make feathers the right size... for small feathers use a detail brush (I used a no. 1 round synthetic). I also used a no. 4 round synthetic.
Get the tone right... if the brush direction, tone and brush size are right all else will fall into place.
